Evidence, scope, and freshness

Sources you can check yourself.

Teen.how links directly to the organizations behind consequential guidance. Current resource coverage is centered on the United States.

How sources are chosen

Government agencies and official service operators are preferred for safety, public-health, worker, consumer, and crisis information. Specialist organizations are used for the services they operate and the subjects they are responsible for.

What “reviewed” means

A review checks that the page, service, scope, and core guidance still match what Teen.how says. It does not mean Teen.how independently tested a service or guarantees its availability.

What this site cannot do

It cannot diagnose, investigate, determine legal rights, assess an emergency, or replace a qualified professional. Location and individual circumstances can change the right next step.
