Privacy and safer browsing

Use the site without telling us who you are.

Teen.how is designed to work without an account, open text box, profile, parent dashboard, or backend collection of sensitive answers.

What the tools ask

Only structured choices about a broad situation, desired outcome, urgency, and practical constraint. Do not enter a name, school, address, phone number, exact birthday, or private story.

What saving means

“Save on this device” uses browser storage. It is not a private cloud account. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to see saved plans.

What Quick exit does

It replaces the current page with a neutral weather search. It does not erase earlier history, saved plans, messages, downloads, screenshots, network records, or monitoring software.

What adults cannot see here

There is no parent dashboard, school dashboard, or organization view of an individual teen’s choices or saved plans.

If someone may monitor your device

Choose the safest realistic option.

  1. Use a device or browser profile the person cannot access, if that is possible without increasing risk.
  2. Prefer call, text, or chat from a safer device for urgent help. Remember that phone and message records may also be visible.
  3. Do not save a plan on a shared device. Copying, printing, screenshots, and downloads can also leave traces.
  4. Clearing history can itself be noticed. Use judgment and seek help from a specialist service if monitoring is part of abuse or control.

What the server can still see

Like other websites, Teen.how’s hosting and security infrastructure may process basic connection data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as the requested page, time, browser information, and IP address. Teen.how does not add an advertising tracker or analytics script, and tool choices are not submitted to an application database.
